The House System at Delhi Public School is designed to foster a strong sense of belongingness and camaraderie among students. The school has six Houses in both the junior, middle and senior wings, with every student being assigned to a House upon admission.
Throughout the year, students earn points for their Houses by participating in scholastic and co-scholastic activities and various inter-house competitions.
Inter-house competitions span a wide range of activities — from sports and dramatics to debates, quizzes, art, music, dance, and more — encouraging, collaborative work honouring 21st century skills. The House with the highest cumulative points at the end of the academic year is awarded the running trophy.
Functions are held annually, where two houses get together to participate in a theme based assembly, in which parents are also invited.
