The Visual Art Department

The Creative Heart of Our School

The Visual Art Department is the creative pulse that brings our school to life. It is a vibrant hub of imagination and expression, where young minds are encouraged to think freely, explore their artistic potential, and bring their ideas to life. Here, colours tell stories, and creativity knows no bounds—making it a space, where the very soul of our school is rooted.

Our department boasts of a spacious Fine Art Lab and Art Room, along with dedicated spaces for Pottery and Clay sculpture. This dynamic, well-equipped environment provides students with hands-on experience across diverse artistic disciplines, nurturing their skills and passion for the arts.

Students discover and refine their talents through various artistic avenues, including:

• Sketching and Painting – Developing technique, composition, and creative expression.

• Printmaking – Experimenting with textures, patterns, and innovative printing techniques.

• Paper Craft – Exploring texture, form, and creative paper-based art.

• Clay sculpture– Shaping ideas into tangible three-dimensional forms.

• Pottery – Engaging in the meditative process of working with clay on the potters wheel.

Through these creative explorations, the department fosters imagination, innovation, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
